{Hear piano music playing and fade into me playing the piano}
Me narrating: "I believe that everyone has an original song within themselves" my music professor said. "Some are just more knowledgeable than others in understanding how to get it out.
"if you really want to create..." he told me, "If you really want to improve your craft and intentionally create works that have meaning... works that move people
LEARN TO SPEAK THE LANGUAGE OF YOUR ART. (Words come on screen)
{show scene of me writing music, reading books}
You will not be inspired to compose a symphony, if you don't know the capacity of the individual instruments in the orchestra. "
INSPIRATION will come IN THE LANGUAGE you UNDERSTAND, and to the capacity of your mastery.
{more piano briefly}
Speaking to camera:
I am a creator. I am a musician. I am a photographer. And I am a teacher.
Break--
Piano plays, show clips of me instructing and shooting
While narration plays on top:
In similar fashion, I believe everyone is an artist. Everyone can create. But often we need the support and guidance of a mentor to help us gain the foundational skills to help us realize our own incredible potential.
Me speaking to camera:
Photography is an art. One that has the potential to be powerful, meaningful, and change lives for the better.
and just like everyone has their own original song inside, everyone also
their own unique eye and perspective that is unlike anyone else in the world.
Words on screen:
You have a story and an opportunity to change the world with your vision.

CHANGE THE WORLD WITH YOUR PERSPECTIVE.

script thoughts for photography promo
Cars streaming pass, the feeling of busyness. Camera comes inbetween the cars to focus on me ready to cross the street. You hear my voice narrating my thoughts:
"Sometimes I feel like life is going faster than I can possibly keep up with."
"There are so many roles I'm supposed to fill. I try to be a good wife, mother, daughter, friend... but often I feel I fall short of what my ideal is."
"Distractions seem to be everywhere I turn, and a there's a great temptation for me to ride the wave of things vying for my attention..."
"Deep down I know what is most important, but it seems so often to be put aside..."
Slow down.
Pay Attention.
Value the present.
For time waits for no man.
Show a field. Silence. Room for your thoughts. Room for enjoying the precious moments in your life with those that are most important.
I believe we were given our families to anchor us.
Children to humor us and help us see the world the way it really is.
And that we ourselves each have a journey to become comfortable in our own skin.

holding off
Rather than having people state their opinions, or even sharing your own stories, this portion might be more effective as words on the screen.
"45% of families never have a professional portrait taken"
"There are a million reasons to hold off"
"But one important one to make it a priority"
"TIME."
Quote about time?
*Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow,
Creeps in this petty pace from day to day
~William Shakespeare
Time is the only thief we can't get justice against. ~Astrid Alauda
The Present is a Point just passed. ~David Russell
*Time waits for no man"
time passed away with us, and also our blives passed away like as it were unto us a cdream,

Video Ideas
I want my video to be a reflection of who I am, and not what I think other people are going to think is cool or what I am expected to do.
I want the music to reflect me.
I want it to have a strong emotional pull.
Use quotes? Tell stories?
Is it about me, or my philosophy?
I feel more comfortable if its not about me.
It should be about them. Perhaps taking that approach?
One thing I don't want people to feel watching the video, is that they aren't cool enough to work with me. That they have no story. I want to appeal to those who are humble, who aren't in the "popular" crowd. I know. It doesn't seem to fit the corporate definition of "target market" does it?
How can I have an incredible video without intimidating people, but inspiring them instead?
I want them to be inspired to act. I want them to be inspired about themselves.
Are there statistics I can use?
I can appeal to the emotions through my philosophy. Tell stories. Use philosophy.
Authenticity.
What makes images powerful?
Visual Biographer of the worlds greatest secrets.
Be seeking for some quotes, some stats, some stories, your own experiences.
Maybe talk about the reasons that people hold off on their pictures. Then talk about the reasons they love their pictures. ?
Talk about the sanctity of THIS MOMENT. Of NOW.
Talk about the sanctity of our life and family.
Talk about peeling away the distractions.
HOw we need the images that have that "power" to be our beckoning in our life.
There IS a great purpose.
